VR Tuned ECU Flash Tune Porsche 996 Carrera 3.6L 02-04

The normally aspirated 996 Carrera 3.6L is a great street car that has more to give. Having owned a 2000 C2, we have experienced the joys of driving this Porsche. The RWD Carrera 2 and the AWD Carrera 4 or 4S are great platforms to increase power on the 3.6L motor. Doing a Stage 1 ECU flash, the car will have improved throttle response whether the Tiptronic or 6speed transmission. Where the car is sluggish off the line, the newly flashed car picks up right away and pulls harder through the mid and top end RPM range. Overall, the daily driving characteristics are vastly improved while providing you additional benefits that the Porsche Carrera craves.

How to Flash Your ECU?

• Use the VRTuned iFlash OBDII device. This REQUIRES a Windows PC. You can flash between the stock and tuned at anytime. See Instructions Here.
• Use the Alientech Powergate 3+ handheld device. This device is a touchscreen module that lets you store your original and tuned files to easily flash between them. See Instructions Here.
• Bring your vehicle to our facility where we can use our Master Tool to flash your vehicle via the OBDII port.

Options:

• Choose to receive our additional ECO Mode file to help fuel economy when needed. This can be flashed via the OBDII port the same way as your tuned file. When you select this add on, you can easily flash between the files at your convenience.
