Once the A90 Toyota Supra hit the market, enthusiasts went wild as there had not been an updated Supra in over 20-years. With a beautiful 3K 2x2 twill weave construction the dry carbon fiber offers elegance while improving the performance look. Pre-preg carbon fiber is rigid and lightweight which is ideal for those worried about adding more weight to their vehicle for track use.

After the carbon fiber comes out of the autoclave, it is polished to perfection and gives off a glorious sheen. By utilizing a UV-resistant resin and injecting it into the fibers helps eliminate the chances of the rear diffuser getting yellow or hazy over time. It is common for the cheaper carbon fiber to degrade over time due to exposure to UV rays from the sun.

What is Dry Carbon Fiber?

Dry carbon fiber is formed by using a pre-preg or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold, and then into a sealed vacuum to properly cure. This particular method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the "wet" method. The vacuuming process of making dry carbon means that there are fewer pinholes and almost no air pockets that form in the carbon. Dry carbon is the highest quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. However, it is 3 to 4 times more expensive to produce than its counterpart.
