The 5.0L V10 engine of the 2006-2011 E60 BMW M5 is purely the best musical instrument to come from BMW. The massive engine makes driving the M5 extremely fun. Having owned a 2006 E60 BMW M5, we know first hands the pros and cons of this engine. The V10 really only likes to be driven above 5000rpm and in manual mode. Below that or in automatic, the car is kind of a dog. But with a simple ECU flash, the V10 is not only a great car to rip around hard, it also becomes a easy to use daily driver.
