The Can-Am Defender HD10 is the perfect UTV for the farm, trails and explore outside your normal boundaries.  However the 72 horsepower 976cc Rotax engine could definitely use some more power and responsiveness.  Tuning the ECU on the Can-Am Defender can unleash performance giving you a much better driving experience.  ECU Tuning is done by altering the parameters to maximize output while keeping a safe and reliable vehicle.  VR Tuned offers the best and most efficient ECU flash over all the competition.  Our ECU flashing can be done via the diagnostic port allowing you to flash between your stock and tuned files while keeping you under the radar for warranty purposes.  Our flashing software takes roughly 3 minutes compared to the competition device which takes almost 20 mins!

How to Flash Your ECU?

• Order our OBDII Flash cable to be able to flash between a stock and your tuned file.  It also features a diagnostic tool. See Instructions Here
• We can bench flash your ECU. To bench flash the ECU, you must remove it from your vehicle and send it to us.  Once we receive the ECU, we will prepare the tune file and then ship it back to you for reinstallation. We do not solder or modify the ECU board at all. All ECU tuning is done via bungy probes that have a needle tip to provide an electrical connection.

• For reference this is a Bosch ME17.8 ECU.

Note:

• Some ECUs may be required to be sent to us if we do not have the matching software.  Once we do bench flash the ECU, we can then return the ECU with your cable so you can flash between the tuned and original file.
