Tubi Style is strategically located in Maranello, Italy, just around the corner from Ferrari's prestigious factory. Maranello is in Modena's motor valley heart, a place rich in decades of automotive culture. The company was founded in 1987 by Fausto Lettieri and Enrico Ruini, who dreamt of using their years of Formula One exhaust experience and passion for high performance automobiles to translate raw engine noise into music. Lettieri still personally makes the first prototypes of each new product - bringing invaluable experience and meticulousness to both that stage and the supervision of every other phase of the machining, design and making of the final product. The most meticulous skill and attention to detail is essential through the entire production process but particularly in the final stages. These incredibly high standards are flawlessly maintained by skilled welders who have become something of a symbol of the Italian excellence that has always been a Tubi Style signature and which has made Italian workmanship famous the world over.
When you consider the excessive use of carbon fiber in the F430 Scuderia, it's hard to imagine that Ferrari's engineers left any room for further weight reduction. Tubi Style was able to pinpoint a key area where Ferrari left a few pounds on the table. Luckily they happened to be hiding out in an area Tubi knows a thing or two about: the exhaust. Like their standard Scuderia system, the Tubi Style Titanium muffler does not compromise to the signature Ferrari sound and performance of the factory system. But what it does do is reduce about 5 pounds of unnecessary weight in comparison to their standard stainless system (12 pounds vs. 17).
